We
at Highlands Danes have a great love
for our dogs and the future of the
breed. We have set a high standard
for our breeding program and have
a high reputation for our quality
Great Dane puppies in the Alabama
area. Our focus will be on what we
leave to future breeders.
Our goal is to breed for genetic
correctness, health, temperament and
movement / confirmation. It is our
sincerest hope that our Great Dane
kennels will produce offspring that
will not carry lethal white or piebaldism
in our lines. We are off to a great
start with our first litter and already
have plans in progress to improve
the next generation with dogs that
do not carry white/pie genetics in
their bloodlines.
Our promise to our dogs and to ourselves
is to stay informed and educated on
new research and findings to help
us reach our goals. We will remain
open-minded to continuous learning
and growth as new ideas and facts
emerge.
